Horseback Riding We have a wonderful program here and every one of us are anxious to do anything we can to help our returning veteran's. As well, we have donors that want to give money specifically for this program. We can try and work with any situation that arises and will do our best to accommodate schedules. Currently we have available: 3 scholarships for the winter session which runs from Jan 2 thru February 29th. We can extend these into the spring session which starts in March and runs thru early June. Classes are once a week for an hour long. They are mounted if the rider is under 200 lbs., they can be in the barn working with the horses if the student is over 200 lbs. Unfortunately, we do not have funding for transportation at this time. As well, one of the donors has requested the money be used for someone from the current conflict. We do need riders to have upper trunk control in order for them to ride. We have a life and can easily accommodate wheelchair bound individuals.
